“The prayer, work, and recreation of the day should be so ordered that they both flow from and contribute to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours around which the horarium revolves” (Art. 23 (2), Constitutions of the Poor Clare Federation of Mary Immaculate in the United States of America).

  7:00 a.m. conventual Mass
       
  7:50 a.m. beginning of all-day exposition, Terce, adoration hours
       
  8:30 a.m. work
       
  10:45 a.m. Sext, private prayer, examen
       
  11:30 a.m. dinner, general work
       
  1:10 p.m. study time
       
  1:40 p.m. None
       
  2:15 p.m. classes for novitiate sisters, work
       
  4:00 p.m. rosary, Vespers, private prayer (public exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursdays and Sundays, with Benediction at 4:30)
       
  5:50 p.m. Collation, free time
       
  6:30 p.m. recreation
       
  7:30 p.m. Compline
       
  8:45 p.m. retire
       

Novitiate instructions are given twice daily. Solemnly professed nuns are free to have a period of spiritual reading whenever they find it best for them. All may make the Stations of the Cross during the day as convenient, and read or study before retiring.
